This chorus was founded in May 2010 on the premise that there should be a a place for people to sing for the sheer joy of singing. We are a non-audition, all-ages, multi-cultural body of singers, free from the constraints of mandatory practices and performances. In essence, we are a community of voices. Under the guidance of our charismatic director, A.J. Walker, we romp through music of the world, often in other languages. We learn songs by rote, without written music.

Though Music for Everyone had a strong hand in the formation of this chorus, the scope of the connection between MFE and the chorus is still being examined.  As MFE strives to help build a musical network in Lancaster, the chorus becomes a part of that growth.

The Music for Everyone Lancaster Community Chorus seeks to maintain the original principals on which it was founded. All welcome if you get here, and a strong sense of community both in practice and performance.

The chorus meets:

Mondays – 7pm

Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster

328 W Orange St

All musical and vocal abilities are welcome.  For more information, please contact the chorus HERE.
